How can having multiple VPN apps installed in a phone cause trouble?

If someone wants to run multiple VPN connections, then it creates IP address conflicts. Instead of working together, the apps will fight over your traffic and settings. The most likely outcome is the second VPN won't connect, and you'll only be able to use the first. But it's also possible that one or both apps will crash, or your internet connection will fail until you close them down. There can be only one VPN connection running at the same time. The existing interface will be deactivated when a new one is created. So, you can use only one VPN at a time.
