Before activating your cyber insurance, you’ll need to download Safehouse Extension and set up your account. Once logged in:
Select your salutation and full name as it appears on your government ID. (Once the insurance policy is issued, your personal details can't be changed.) Click Continue.
Enter your mobile number and click Continue. You will receive a verification code by SMS. Enter that code and click Continue.
Enter your email address and click Continue.
If this is the same email address that you used to set up your Safehouse Extension account, your Cyber Insurance is now active.
If this is a different email address to the one you used to set up your Safehouse Extension account, you will receive a verification code by email. Enter that code and click Continue. Your Cyber Insurance is now active.
You will receive your Cyber Insurance policy from HDFC ERGO within three business days.
