What are Permission Control? What types of permissions are there?
The Permission Control features protect your privacy and give you back control over your data. We show you which websites you’ve allowed to access your camera, microphone, and location – which they have the potential to do without you knowing about it – and to send you notifications and pop-ups. We also make it easy for you to choose which permissions you’d like to revoke on each website.
Under Permission Control, we show you which websites you’ve allowed to:
Access your camera
Access your microphone
Access your location
Send you notifications
Send you pop-ups
It gives you the ability to switch those permissions off for each website.
