What is Web Protection?

Web Protection ensures the internet you are using is safe. Your browser is a hacker’s gateway into your life and your computer, so by protecting your browser and your browsing activities, Safehouse protects you from harm. Features within this category include:


  • Active Defence, which provides real-time defence against malicious attacks, and blocks harmful websites and ads from showing up in your browser and pop-ups.

  • Do Not Track, which asks websites not to track your browsing activity.

  • Link Protection, which alerts you when you’ve clicked on a potentially dangerous link, warning you against opening them (e.g. phishing scams, malware, unsecured links).
