Why the policy is showing company address/name instead of customer name/address?
This is a group policy for the Safehouse users. Safehouse is the master policy holder of HDFC ERGO and provides cyber insurance cover of up to INR 25,000 to its VIP Plus, PC/Mac & PRO users. The policy shows the company name, company address because the master policy is issued in the company name, and the customer name/phone/email is shown of the user who is insured.
Here, the policy is issued in the name of the company, and the user(non-employee) is covered because they have an active subscription of Safehouse plans which includes cyber insurance. Here, the customer physical address isn't mandatory to put on the policy as it’s a group policy. Though customer address can be added on the policy, but we avoid taking customer personal physical address to maintain our stance of taking minimum data of our users.
